Richard Orlinski has been the world's best-selling French contemporary artist since 2015. A self-taught and unconventional creator, his bold, faceted sculptures have captivated audiences worldwide. Inspired by pop culture, Richard challenges artistic conventions with a disruptive vision that bridges diverse art forms and disciplines
An Officier des Arts & des Lettres since 2021, Richard is committed to democratizing art, bringing his works beyond traditional gallery spaces and into the public sphere. For him, inspiration comes from everywhere—everyday objects, popular culture, the natural and the artificial, the abstract and the functional. His mission is clear: to make art accessible to all. This commitment leads him to his latest creation: the Shiba-Inu, an emblem of Web3 and cryptocurrencies, an undisputed symbol of the blockchain movement. From the outset, Richard Orlinski saw the evolution of Web3 and NFTs as a unique opportunity to expand his artistic horizons. Freed from material constraints, he can express his creativity in new ways, offering a work in two complementary forms presented as a duo: ● A physical sculpture, grounded in material ● An NFT, extending the experience into the digital world.

The exhibition will feature nearly 20 artworks, including three formats of the Shiba sculpture, all available exclusively at ArtVerse’s phygital gallery. Each piece comes with a digital twin NFT, minted on the Tezos blockchain, reinforcing Richard Orlinski’s vision of making art collecting more accessible and innovative. Why choose Tezos blockchain? Home to leading artists selling their work on the blockchain, Tezos continues to push the boundaries of digital art, offering an easy and seamless way to collect NFTs. In addition, by leveraging blockchain technology, NFTs provide an immutable proof of authenticity and provenance, ensuring transparency and trust for collectors. The Tezos Foundation has worked with many French institutions and artists in the past, including the { Le Code d’Orsay } 2024 exhibition at the Musée d’Orsay with artist Agoria. As Aleksandra Artamonovskaja, Head of Arts at Trilitech, the adoption hub for the Tezos Blockchain, explains: “It is a pleasure to continue our long-standing partnership with Artverse by collaborating on the Orlinski exhibition, and bringing his work on the Tezos blockchain - the blockchain chosen by both world-famous contemporary artists such as Marina Abramovic, ORLAN and Judy Chicago - to pioneers in code-based art such as Auriea Harvey and Memo Akten.” Through this groundbreaking exhibition, Richard Orlinski, ArtVerse, and Trilitech are joining forces to redefine the future of art collecting, blending tradition with innovation in a way that speaks to both seasoned collectors and the next generation of digital art enthusiasts.
"My collaborations with Web3 players like Binance have opened new artisticperspectives for me. With the Shiba, I pay tribute to the crypto community throughboth a physical artwork and an NFT on Tezos inspired by it," says Richard Orlinski.
